Wow. That’s the first thing that came out of my mouth after experiencing peyote’s food and atmosphere. I didn’t know what to expect coming into this. Before I go on, let me give you a little background about peyote and where it is located. Peyote is located within the Ferguson Downtown Plaza. What is Ferguson Downtown? Well, it used to be a Historic Motel located on Fremont St.

Now it’s a plaza where the community can connect, shop, eat, drink, stay, work and explore. If you are in near Fremont Experience, I highly recommend coming here. It’s a good sight seeing spot.

Enough about the plaza, let’s talk about peyote! Well what can I say? It was FABULOUS! The restaurant is a glamorous desert oasis awash in vibrant desert hues. Peyote brings a retro desert charm to Downtown Las Vegas. You are immediately greeted by cactus and a succulent garden leading you to the modern and chic bistro. You can tell they put a lot of effort into their design, inside and out. The live music was nice touch. I always enjoy music with my brunch.

The food was delicious! I ordered steak and eggs. Their version of steak came with Skirt Steak with roasted green salsa, two sunny side up eggs and a fingerling potato. For desert I tried the Vegan Flan dusted with chocolate and caramel. Their brunch menu was small, but they did have a variety of food that will titillate your taste buds. The drinks were fabulous too. I had a guava alcoholic drink while my girlfriend had an IPA.
